Lyngør is an island society off the southern Norwegian coast. The village blossomed during the age of sail in the 1800s and is well known for its scenic harbour and charming wooden houses. It is recognized as one of the best-preserved communities in Europe.

In 1976 Fredrik Brodersen established a sail loft in Lyngør. In addition to the production of sails, classic canvas products have been produced at the loft in Lyngør for over 45 years. All of our products are still sewn in Lyngør, and this small-scale production gives our customers unique and hard-wearing products with high quality.

The products can only be purchased in our store at Lyngør, in Skipshandelen that you find on the 2nd floor between the restaurant and the sail loft. We are open from 13-18.00 pm every day from mid June to mid August. Beyond this you can come by appointment. Feel free to contact us for questions.
